1. How long does it take to design a new School uniform?

Generally to do a complete uniform redesign a school should allow for approx. 12-18 months to get the best result. Things like fabric colour dips to obtain the exact colour, pattern development and sampling can take some time. Another important factor to consider is the school's current stock. It is important to have this thoroughly assessed with a plan on how to run down old stock before new stock is rolled out.

2. We would like our uniforms to be Australian Made is this possible?

Yes. Kea is very proud of it's local manufacturing set-up. We have been producing this way for almost 20 years and worked very hard to produce the highest quality garments in the market.

3. Do you offer garments made in China?

Yes. Over the last 5 years Kea has opened it's own factory in China whereby we are able to maintain the 'Kea' standard across all Chinese made product. Quality means everything here at Kea and we were determined to not let our quality slip in anyway when manufacturing offshore. Through much trial and error Kea decided to invest in it's own factory where we are able to closely monitor the entire production facility from the time the garments are cut until they arrive in our Hallam Warehouse. We are very proud of the quality we are able to produce in China and thrilled to pass the cost savings onto our customers.

4. We are unsure about branding, can you help?

Absolutely! We are often asked to implement a logo or crest into our garments. We take design very seriously and endeavour to provide designs that will last the test of time.

5. What makes a Kea Garment outlast the rest?

Simply put...Quality. Quality in design, development and manufacturing. We are continuoulsy seeking the best fabrics in the world. We use only the best fabrics, threads and zips we can find. Then we continue to put these to stringent tests every order. There is simply no room for short cuts. Our reputation won't allow it.

6. We have alot of odd stock, can you help us formulate a conversion plan?

Yes. One of Kea's strengths is it's ability to assess a school's current uniform and formulate a new uniform plan going forward. To learn more and read recommendations call Colleen on (613+)9796 3766.
